There’s a local hidden 💎 gem, that’s serving {The Best Pizza} in the Town of Parksville in British Columbia.
This very popular seaside tourist resort city on Vancouver Island, is serving mouth-watering 🍕 gourmet pizza at its finest.
Not long after opening their doors a few seasons back, Salt Pizzeria has fast become the premier pizzeria in the City, and for very good reason!
The restaurant is ideally situated in the city, in a tiny strip mall located directly off the 🛣 Island Highway. This makes their location perfect, for those traveling between the Towns of Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and air-conditioned and you have the option to dine in, or place your order for take-out.
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining in, and were able to watch our 🍕 pizzas been made from scratch in the kitchen, by the restaurants very personable owners of Salt Pizzeria – Marion and Howard.
From fresh homemade dough prepared each evening with organic flour, fresh non pre-shredded high-fat cheeses, in house tomato sauce, to fresh herbs and more.
It’s not hard to tell that these proud owners take a great deal of pride, in what they prepare and serve to their customers.
When you taste gourmet pizzas like this, you simply have to ask yourself …
“Why have I been eating generic franchise purchased pizza for all these years?”
For myself and as a 🍺 beer lover, it was like tasting naturally prepared real Craft Beer for the first time.
There’s simply no comparison!
Don’t expect a standard pepperoni pizza at Salt Pizzeria; instead the owners have created a unique selection of personalized homemade 🍕 gourmet pizzas, that are sure to please most everyone.
For meat lovers to vegetarians, they have some excellent selections for you to choose from! 🙂
From their; Classico, Mexican, Greek, Canadian to their Westcoast, you’re definitely going to have a tough time in deciding!
Check out these two outstanding, and very popular gourmet pizzas my wife and I had the pleasure of trying on our visit to their restaurant.
Diavolo
“Diavolo (Italian for “Devil monk”) is the name given to a spicy sauce for pasta or seafood.” wikipedia
This mouth-watering pizza will attack your taste buds, with a truly unique flavour and taste.
We could not believe how good this gourmet pizza tasted!
Fresh Mozzarella, Soppressata (Italian dry salami), Italian Sausage, Chili Flakes, Tomato Sauce, Fresh Basil
Vegetarian
This was another outrageously tasty gourmet pizza and a vegetarian’s delight!
We had never tried pizza with such a combination of fine ingredients that married together so well.
Both pizzas were simply … to die for!
My wife and I both left the restaurant and remarked, that we had never experienced such fine tasting fresh gourmet pizza in all our world travels, including our visit to Italy!!
🎩 Hats off to owners Marion and Howard, for sharing their home made pizza recipes for all of us to enjoy!
What’s also very unique about Salt Pizzeria, is you also have the choice of ordering your favorite pizza served in a delicious fresh 🥖 bunwich.
So if the dough runs out, or you just feel like having a special sandwich, there’s always these great selections on the menu to choose from!
