As a Baby Boomer Travel, Health & Wellness Blogger and avid reader, I’ve included a 📚 book review segment to my blog.
My most recent read is the featured author’s latest publication called; Everything You Always Wanted To Know About The Spanish – But Were Afraid To Ask.
This is the second publication from author {Gaspard Chevallier}, I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing. His first book was; 📖 Everything About The French – Afraid To Ask.
Having a French background myself, I was delighted to have the opportunity to read and to offer a personal review of his first book.
I was so pleased to receive and review his second book, as his first was a fun read! 🙂
Gaspard is from France originally, having worked and lived in sixteen various countries around the world. He now makes his home in Spain.
He began working as a salesman and moving on to journalism. He continued on becoming an entrepreneur.
He is also the author of the guide – “I created my own company.”

This is exactly what you will enjoy reading in Gaspard’s 2nd publication, equally as entertaining as the first!
He offers a great insight and oftentimes, very humorous look at the social aspects of the Spanish people.
He delves into many funny descriptions of the Spanish people, their particularly fussy customs and commonplace remarks and so much more, along the way.
There’s even a great deal of history thrown in of the Spanish, showing when, why and where these distinct customs, phrases and attitudes originate from.

You’ll find answers to many questions you may have, all here and so much more in this interesting and often humorous publication.
This was yet another most enjoyable easy read, especially if you are curious about particular Spanish customs, actions, reactions, what they are and perhaps aren’t best known for.
The book definitely answers the 5 W’s of the Spanish …
“Who … What … Where … Why … When”
If you’re going to be traveling to Spain in particular, this is a great read that will get you up to date on all the latest the Spanish are known for.
All presented in a fun and light hearted way, making for a superb read! 🥸
Our family was fortunate enough to visit parts of Spain briefly, while on our 🛳 NCL Western Mediterranean Cruise a few seasons back.
We absolutely loved the country and hope to return one day soon for a long stay vacation.
